Tune-up

If your computer is not running as fast as it used to, it is in need of a tune-up. Over time, computers get bogged down with junk and require periodic maintenance to get back in top condition. Once our experienced techs are done, your computer will be running like the day you bought it, if not better! We will also check the health of the hard drive and the motherboard to catch any potential problems.

Our PC Tune-Up includes:

  • Complete disk defrag

Virus Cleanup

The internet is a dangerous place anymore, and there is always the risk of your computer getting infected even if you have an antivirus. At Davis ComputerWorks, we do our best to remove viruses, trojans, rootkits, spyware, and the like without reformatting your computer. For us, reinstalling Windows is the last resort, not the only option.
Do NOT buy any anti-virus programs, hard drive tools, or other utilities that suddenly appear on your computer saying they found all sorts of scary problems. They are scams.

OS Install

Infected beyond repair? Windows corrupted? Hard drive died? If you answered yes, then the solution is to reinstall Windows. We will backup your data first if possible, install Windows, perform updates, install drivers, install some basic software, and restore you data.

We take care to backup any important pictures, documents, music, and such, but be aware that we cannot backup software. We can sometimes retrieve product keys for Microsoft Office and some anti-viruses, but it is not guaranteed.

Data Backup

More and more of our modern lives are stored on our computers, including family photos and videos, tax records, homework, resumes, and so much more. Without a proper backup in place, all that data can be gone in the blink of an eye from hard drive failure, corruption, infection, or theft. We can give you peace of mind knowing that your data is safe with easy, automated data backup solutions. We also offer basic data recovery services.


If you care at all about your data, BACK IT UP. Hard drives can fail without warning. Data recovery on drives with extensive damage can range from extremely expensive ($700+) to impossible.
